It all started 16 years ago when one of the owners of So-Cal Enterprises Frank Cortez decided to join the automotive industry. Frank worked several years as a manager for one of the biggest quick lube companies in the industry. Frank decided to go own his own by purchasing a quick lube and begin his own career in the automotive, wash & detail industry known as Rapid Mobile Enterprises. In 2000 Frank decided to add and build his own mobile unit to his quick lube shop by offering fleet and corporate owners the same service he provided at his quick lube shop by taking it to there door steps and adding bigger and more services than other quick lube's would not offer. He decided to begin servicing large diesel rv's, generators and heavy construction equipment. The second owner of So-Cal Enterprises is Mike Macias. Mike began working at a young age in the landscaping industry and got a quick knowledge of all machinery used in this type field. Once graduating from high school, he decided to take his career in the automotive and small engine industry. Frank was kind enough to hire Mike right out of school and began his full time career with Frank. Mike became manager for Frank and also was in charge of some of the mobile units for several years. As time past it was mike's turn to proceed with his own goals. Mike decided to proceed in the small engine industry and became a manager for one of the oldest garden and landscaping equipment company's in San Diego. As years past Mike decided to open his own company known as Mykie's Lawn & Power Equipment. As time past both owners always kept in touch and helped each other in business when needed. Knowing the strength and management skills that they both shared, they took the courage to join forces together and the means to build a better, brighter and more sustainable future as So-Cal Enterprises.
